Reclassing to 25s. Can anyone give guidance, re: coursework, what to expect as MOS-T, living conditions, wknds, etc?

I was at as strat site and I learned very little. It was also one of the worst facilities I have ever worked at. I was excited traveling through Hawaii on the way to the site. When we got there I thought I was back in Iraq. Now I'm pretty much in a staff position. Also, remember your first words in basic, MY RECRUITER LIED TO ME!

SPC (Verify To See) - Good to know SPC, not trying to step on toes, I am just repeating what I was told by my recruiter who is a 25S. Why is it competition for strat sites is high compared to tac though?

I have been on both sides of the fence. There is a ton to learn on both sides. You just have to be hungry for it. Both sides can be boring, both sides can have a grind you down tempo...it just depends where you go and if you are a go getter.

I was trained strategic, and went to a tactical unit(MSE). Next assignment was a step site. Next assignment, back to tactical(WIN-T). I am now an instructor.

Also he said the schoolhouse is way on the far end of the base away from barracks, so you don't have to march. They bus you instead.
