Retention: Can a soldier reenlist for an airborne assignment without having airborne? If so where can I find the reg/ or policy?

Yes you can but you have to request AIRBORNE School TDY Enroute. Also if you do this and get hurt you may find yourself up for worldwide assignment. Also, and I have seen this happen, if you quit the school I would, before you depart the 1st 507th for your follow on, I would go to the bookstore and buy a Korean Phrasebook...You will need it.

So how would rentention wrote this down on a contract, what is the format by any chance do you have an example/ or reg or policy still in compliance supporting your statement. I only asked because to support my case if true. And Korea was a good assignment, lol.
