The Navajo Code was never broken during WWII. This code confounded the Japanese Imperial Army. Navajo Code Talkers saved many American lives in the Pacific Campaign from 1942-1945 working alongside with the USMC. During the first two days of Iwo Jima there were over 800 messages perfectly sent and received. Great respect for their service to this nation.

I wished I could have sat down and talked to one of them. I watched Wind Talkers and became interested in the history of their work as radio men. Amazing what they accomplished in war.

Windtalkers was good but read the books that are written about them. Amazing the stuff that they did.

They were involved in every battle during the Pacific Campaign. The Marines protected them well and they in return saved thousands of lives during the island hopping to Japan.
