Also a semi-auto model of a light machinegun? All the weight and none of the capability?

I spent my first deployment as a SAW gunner, and though I fully love the weapon in every way, but the purpose of the weapon is to provide suppressing fire in order to keep the enemy from firing back. For it to be sold as a semi-auto kinda takes away the entire purpose of the weapon and just turns it into a heavy rifle that is somewhat unwieldy.

That is one of my favorite weapons, I just don't think it will be as much fun as the full auto one. I would still want one though.

I was just at the NRA Show and saw it at the FN booth. Not sure of the practicality of it since the rate of fire is the same as a M4 and it is 5 pounds more. In saying that I am not sure way it is practical to have 30 guns, but I do. I would buy one if I had $6000 laying around.

I like it, it's a great working replica firearm. But Who can afford to shoot that many 5.56 rounds, that you still have to fire semi-automatic? I'd buy it only if the price were less than $7,000 bucks.

They had them on display at NRA convention this past weekend. Talking with the rep there price range will be between 4000-6000. Should be ready to start ordering and shipping by end of month

Pretty cool I suppose, wouldn't really understand the purpose in a semi auto SAW when it's mainly used for suppression ...that's just my opinion anyhow

It's not a fun weapon at a semi automatic but start collecting drums if you can find them without breaking any rules or regs. Those drums are going to be costly on the market to certain people.
