SGT Bergdahl freed after 5 years?

So the news is out that after 5 years SGT Bergdahl's freedom was negotiated with the Taliban. So what are your thoughts on his release? In sure we're happy that he'll be reunited with his family, but we've all heard stories about how he was captured. He got separated from his unit during a firefight, he walked off during patrol, he walked off the base in the middle of the night. What I'm getting at is what do you really think about this soldier? The good and bad; and feel free to throw an occasional HOMELAND joke in there as well.
