If so, what is the army regulation that gives this very specific case? I've been looking in AR 37-104-4 and it doesn't include the reserves.

Yes 30+ days and you get all the same benefits as being on Active duty.

Thank you SSG. I was. Looking for the army regulation to show my S1. The only thing I was shown was a finance guide for the USAR. Seems official, but hope It will be enough to convince him because he asked specifically for the regulation.

SPC (Join to see) - This link will have all the information needed. Whoever is running your S-1 shop should already know but S-1 is not finance that should be your UA which he/she should know. If you are at a post on orders going through a MOB or activation that post finance will deal with it all and they will know a reserve S-1 shop seems to forget a lot of stuff. But make sure you have your lease ect you should have completed your start bah form 5960 I believe it is.

You are entitled to Tricare ect if 30+ days. That is the reason why most units cut orders 29 days or less.

BAH without dependents, it's a thing for active duty and reserves on orders for 30+ days.

Because that Soldier still has to maintain a house back home. Once those orders are done that soldier cannot go back to nothing. That is the reason why Reserve soldier over 30+ days get full everything they must maintain a house back home so if they are not married but have a lease they need to bring it with them to ensure BAH is paid.
