Not enough answers. We can't vote for him because he will never be able to run. Your first point pretty much makes this moot. Elon will never be able to run for President. He wasn't born here, his parent were not Americans, and having 3 citizenships doesn't help his case. I do not want this requirement changed in our Constitution as it opens up the office to more issues.

Sir, right!

The exercise was to see if people understood the important reasons the framers of the Constitution articulated this! I will say Musk can be leveraged in other ways that can help the nation, he does not need to be POTUS to accomplish that!

To LTC Eugene Chu's point! Many people that run for any political office from Town Council up don't have political experience when they start out. The problem in this case of a "newbie" is a lack of COMMON SENSE in favor of POLITICAL EXPEDENENCY and SELF over others. The whole idea behind holding office "idealistically - of course" is service!!! Speaking of unpopular:

> Defunding the police!
> Senators communicating threats toward judges
> Women and children threatened with rape, murder, etc. from violent criminals that should never be on the street to victimize others (i.e., soft on crime)
> Drugs like fentanyl being disguised now as candy and kills 100s of young children
> An anemic economy that is not supportive of all levels of society
> A general lack by many current politicians of just what the three branches of government really are and respecting them as was once done
> and so much more.....................

SSG (Join to see) I have your six! LTC Eugene Chu, sir, WADR, seriously!?!?!?!?

Frankly, if the Twitter folks were not going to be honest, then why buy something that is overinflated as to its self-indulgent importance. As to Russia, he is a novice! There are many mistakes that were we (i.e., our government) made with Russia in the last 20-years, not the least of which is Putin's psychotic and despotic behavior that we should have checked and did not when he first annexed Crimea!!! I agree with you, Musk commentary is naive and reminiscent Chamberlain in the run-up to WWII. Being smart and being wise is a rare combination.

So, LTC Eugene Chu, let me ask you this, if Musk is not qualified for POTUS, which I am Ok with, what makes someone like Eric Swalwell, who sleeps with spies able to keep his seat in Congress and membership of a very sensitive committee, for what is a level of "passive" TREASON that seems to many that is being passed over (i.e., ignored).

I am equally sure none of us knows the full story! But, from a Homeland Security perspective, being "hacked" by a Chinese spy should at least match the raid on Trump's Mar-a-logo estate if we are in fact so worried about such things. Not that I am a fan, but rather because of "equal justice" or at least the perception of equal justice for those of us with independent thought I would agree with Minority Leader that when a sitting Congressman has been compromised to the extent Axios and others have independently reported the procedure by the Speaker regardless of party should be the removal from such committees as "Intel" until absolutely cleared. Put him on, say, the Interior Committee or Urban Development.

To many I have spoken with across the board, the Speaker should have had the courage to make this call but did not!

Americans are tired, and I have spoken with DEMS, REPS, and fellow Independents / Libertarians that fair is fair and what is good for the goose is good for the gander! It is double and even triple standards that are PPO. This is true when speak with blacks, women, Hispanics, Asians, and others who just want the nuttiness to stop. People who are reasonable see across the board what is wrong and why.

Just saying.......................

It is a non-starter. Elon Musk does not have any political experience or understanding of how government works. Furthermore, he has legal issues (e.g. lawsuit over failed Twitter purchase, etc.) and holds unpopular views (e.g. proposed Ukraine concede territory to Russia, etc.)

And Joe Biden does, the man has been a career politician for almost 50 years and made the biggest mess in less than 2 years. Thus your argument is invalid.
