Should I be concerned if I am 150+ days waiting for the FedRec cycle (promotion orders are from May 2016)?

Don’t sweat it brother. They are incredibly backed up right now and most fed recs are taking that long. You should see something come through in the next 30 to 60 days.

I'm on L04-17, and we're "stuck" at 51 days at "Awaiting Off Dep Ch of Staff Personel". Good times.

Yup..and at first i wasn't too worried because i was told by multiple people that we get back paid to date of orders.. But at this point I feel like it's like my career is on hold.

Can anyone tell me why the process takes so long for RC officer/warrant promotions to run through the FedRec cycle? I'm an ARNG officer and I've had my state promotion orders for CPT since the middle of April. I've been tracking my packet on the ARNG-G1 website and it was awaiting addition to a scroll until a month ago and last week the scroll was ready to start the approval DoD cycle. Thoughts?

Not enough info. If you're in the promoted group, you should check and see where you are in that zone. They try to clear everyone through by the end of the next FY unless they're bumping up against a body count problem at the next higher rank (doesn't make sense for O-2). If you're in the group but your individual promotion is being held, that's a different story. A call into the S-1 and HR shop is in order.

I'm in LO3-17. And I did contact s1 who basically said it could be 120 days in that stage. Now I'm at 150 days though and I was told they dig into backgrounds further now so could be why it's taking longer.
