The challengers to California's law argue that microstamping is "unworkable technology" and that is will effectively make the sale of guns illegal in the state of California as some gun manufacturers have already stated that they will no longer sell new guns in California due to this law.

This is California, they live in their own fantasy world. It's a land of Gov Brown sugar cookies falling from the sky.
There state is beyond broke and every law they use just hurts it even worse. I think the people who can afford it, will start moving out. Way to many liberal policies there

All microstamping will accomplish is significantly raising the price of a firearm because it is a expensive and burdensome manufacturing process.

I dunno about unconstitutional, it is absolute nonsense however that's not going to do a damn thing to stop a crime.
