Should military members be separated/discharged for refusing the COVID vaccinations?

Many have applied for a religious exemption. Based on recent reports many of these requests have not been ruled on, yet soldiers and sailors are being discharged.

Refusing the covid vaccine is not the issue. Refusing to follow an order is the issue. Their is no reg which states you must submit to a vaccine. But you do have to follow orders, direct and lawful.

actually there are regulations and instructions which state which are required vaccinations, once approved by the FDA and the military decides it is mandatory the order comes from the secretary of the service...so the regulation about following orders comes to mind as well.

Well we can refuse owr malaria small pot Amtrak and a hold bunch of vac because you will get Court malshart so I'm not a favor of makes the military mandate but don't be a baby

Yes, I believe that all military members should be vaccinated. GI means Government Issue, we are told to hang-up the civilian tantrums because we become Property of The Arm Forces. On each war eras, there were many vaccines administered before deployments and we never said no. For the past years we have lost many loved ones due to the pandemic. Many churches became agnostics and fanatics. NOT BIBLICAL. I have my three shots and looking forward for the 4, 5. Better safe than sorrow.

nothing in the constitution says they have to be allowed to continue to serve in the military either...if they refuse a lawful order requiring them to get the shot, they are simply discharged and no longer serve...I don't want such care-bears serving anyway if they are so illogical and weak minded not to mention lack the courage of getting stuck with a needle.

Even if the vaccine is not safe for them to get. People are dying from it and being paralyzed etc. So you still believe I the vaccine. I dont cause it wasn't very long than they had a vaccine. Everyone has there opinion but I think it stinks cause now the military is lacking.

PO2 Christina Hutson - please post a source where it shows people are dying to the vaccine? The only thing I have ever seen is misinformation pushed by Trump and Fox News which has been repeatedly debunked. Any side effects from the vaccine pale in comparison to the number of people dying to Covid and the side effects of getting Covid, even if you survive you have lifelong debilitating health effects, over 15% of those with Covid have gotten the long Covid and kids who have gotten it are showing signs of mental decline because the lung issues causes a lack of oxygen to their brains.
Is more dangerous not to get it than to get it, this is a proven fact.
Please do post your source to showing all these deaths and how bad it is though, will be good for a laugh disproving it.

FAIR, you are a member of the US military. The US military is by necessity a dictatorship.
Getting the vaccine is a benefit to all members. Religious exemptions like this are also religious exemptions against serving.

LOL agreed....what happens when they give these people guns and tell them to go fight in a war? Do they then claim religious exemption because they are cowards and afraid of dying for their country like they swore and oath to?
Such cowardice has no place in the US military and using religious as a political excuse to get out of a shot is just pathetic.
