It is amazing that people who are in the country ILLEGALLY are entitled to a blessed thing. It doesn't pass the common sense test in my opinion. The real confusing part is that my Japanese wife is here LEGALLY, is married to a US citizen who spent a lifetime in military service, yet is entitled to less benefits than someone who is here illegally. The more I try to understand this conundrum, the more I try to use logical and critical thinking, the more I am considered a racist, a hater, or part of the problem. If you are discovered in Japan illegally, get ready for harsh jail life until you are deported. Good luck finding work there illegally. You can go there legally, work there legally, and even become a Japanese citizen. However, the notion of spending billions on people who are there illegally is unimaginable. There is no need for all of these amendments to laws, amnesty, etc. We need to stop making laws based on emotions and start using common sense. Instead of making 50 new laws to accommodate people here illegally, enforce one law that states that if you are here illegally, you are a criminal who is entitled to NO services and those who employ you are just as guilty.

Limitless immigration is the perfect way to totally destroy the US and turn us into the same kind of shit hole that many of those people are leaving.

I a word NO. Our nation should not have limitless immigration SSgt Alex Robinson. I am the child of two British immigrants who were invited to this country by the University of Pennsylvania in the 1950's. They chose to stay but never became citizens. I had dual citizenship until I enlisted in 1974 and chose to become a citizen of the USA.
The United States should take in skilled immigrants and a limited number of people seeking asylum. To be honest I would like the asylum application process to be fast-tracked. We should grant asylum for those who helped us in countries like Iraq and Afghanistan but not Syria.

We can't take care of veterans nor hungry children now, how are we going to support everyone else as well. Look at other countries immigration laws and the penalties for illegal immigrants.
here is a copy/paste of just a part of what happens id you enter Mexico illegal.
Under the Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can be sentenced to six-year terms. Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.May 3, 2010

No it should not. Obviously there is an American culture and heritage that makes the United States unique. The more our culture gets diluted with culture and ideology that is contrary to our American belief system the further we drift from "a more perfect union" and will eventually cease to have an identity that is by far unique in the world. All that is sacred to all of you now will be gone and your children, grandchildren and the world will suffer for it.
