On August 17, 2017, Democratic Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal, replied to a comment on one of her Facebook posts, writing "I hope Trump is assassinated!"
The Office of the President of the United States is bigger than any one person--no matter who holds the office.
These types of threats against our President from a sitting government official, like him or not, cannot be tolerated.

I can only promise you that had a White Republican in her office said the same thing about President Obama she would be calling for them to resign or be impeached....

I was going to say the exact same thing. I am not at all racist and coming from California racism was never an issue. Once I was in the Army I saw things differently. In 1968 I was stationed at Ft Gordon, GA and boy was in for a cultural shock! I could not even begin to believe what I saw and heard when I went into town the first time. Right outside the gate there was a Foster's Freeze and around back they had black only drinking fountains and white only ones. I had never seen anything like that before. In my naivete' I thought racism in the South was all but erased. Boy was I wrong. Now, I think we have reverse racism going on. To ALL my brothers and sisters, please do not take offense, but I think that is going on in our country today. I hope I did not offend.

and apologize to the entire country or at least to her constituency in her home district, she owes them AT LEAST that much, then step down and make room for a NON-RACIST!
