Should the Army waste money on a new camouflage pattern when we have a surplus of the current ACU/OCP?

With the knowledge of the new selection of uniform, I would say that we should have worked on a better licensing agreement with Crye to continue to utilize OCP and make it the permanent pattern, considering we chose the joint developed predecessor by selecting Scorpion. They now have to start the industrial machine printing the new fabrics, license out the pattern to other vendors for aftermarket gear, start getting uniforms and OCIE into production. If they would have selected multicam, they would have just had to negotiate the licensing of the pattern since production has already been rolling. This not only will probably cost more money, but take much longer to get to the troops.

Go with Multicam. Yes, a ton of money was spent, but that's no reason to settle with the terrible uniform that we currently have. Spend a little more to field it completely and be done with it.

I personally think we should cut the losses and Stick OCP. I know it's just a cry from the bottom, but the OCP/deployment multicams are a favorite among a lot of soldiers, As well as both functional and professional in appearance.
At a minimum, they make soldiers look good and the army is all about appearances.
