I went through IMPOC [now IMLC] in 1980 and am proud to have served with many 11Cs over the years. I noticed there are 2 seemingly identical indirect fire infantrymen position groups on RallyPoint.

It depends on the mission statement, sir. I was 11B secondary 11C. As grunts we has weapons platoon. I Dont think we need anymore unless commanded by battalion

Well you know I never did my homework I have a friend that I work with And he Used to work with the old tow behind Jeep howitzersSo the only thing I can think of is How these guns are transported into battle situationsObviously there's a difference between a mechanized unit and an infantry unit And how these guns were used in placement
