I think we all see what's coming:  The States and the Federal government are moving to decriminalize Marijuana.  Let's not focus on why this is good or why it isn't, my question is related to us.

If the military allows the use of Marijuana by its Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines; how should this be implemented?

My thinking is that it be regulated exactly like alcohol in terms of when you can use it related to work and where and how you can use it similar to tobacco.  Should we smoke it in uniform?  During the duty day?

I have Fibromyalgia and Pot is used as an effective treatment for the disease.  I would very much like to smoke some pot to alleviate some of these symptoms, principally pain.  I have never smoked it before so my interest is purely a medical one.  It is appealing because it is a natural substance and has no adverse medical risks associated with it.

I would like to know what the community thinks about this.  Should it be legalized/decriminalized?  Should the military allow its use?  Would this be a good thing, a bad thing, or nothing at all?

Yes, it is of course still illegal federally, but if and when it does become legal, do you see the military allowing it on any sort of recreational level?
