I know there is a lot of debate about the wed site US ARMY WTF MOMENTS. but with yesterday being thanksgiving they did a pretty cool thing. Anyone on staff duty or cq that did not get thanksgiving the weB site shot out those units on the Internet for people to bring them food. I had invited members of my squad for thanksgiving but being brand new no one showed up. I wound up being food to staff duty at three corp, third brigade and to a BN headquarters. Should the service members first Sgt or commanders have brought them food.

Yes and supervisors should be looking out for those on there left, especially single soldiers around the holidays, who dont have family in the area. Someone should be looking out for higher ups to, they dont necessarily have a place to go eat during the holidays.

Brotherhood means you look out for each other if you know a brother/sister who doesn't have family and is gunna be alone during the holiday take care of them it won't kill you and it will gain them more faith and trust in you as a brother/sister in uniform
