Should women be required to register with the Selective Service upon turning 18?

With the fight for equality in the military and the recent decision by the Army to open combat arms MOS's to women in the Army, being so much in the news and discussion, do you think that women of the required Selective Service age group should be made to register as their male counterparts are?

We're all equal, right? Yes, they should be required to register.
PO1 Flag Corpsman
Why not? They want to make it all inclusive. Lets go all the way.
Cpl Mark McMiller
Yes.

Since the Army has made it to where women can do jobs that once were not open to them, I say why not. Since everything in the military is going towards a more equal military for both men and women, then they should have to sign up for Selective Service.

Why shouldn't they be???
CW2 Eric Scott
Yep. Not sure why this hasn't changed already.
MAJ Operations Officer (S3)
Yes, equality can't be selective (no pun intended).
MSgt Charles Johnson
Yes, everyone should serve. At least 4 years of service.
SFC Retention and Transition NCO (USAR)
Yes….. I think everybody should be treated the same. Equal.

As long as the selective service remains a thing, then yes. However I don't believe in the concept of the selective service in the first place; the military should now and always be an all volunteer force. The government has no right to tell a citizen they have to risk their life.
