Signed as a 91B in National Guard in an aviation unit. Is this good or bad?

I just enlisted in the Army National Guard as a 91B. They assigned me to an aviation unit and I'm a bit worried about how that'll work. I chose it because of the bonus and because it was available. They had a transportation unit but they said it was full and would have required them making an extra spot for me but with no bonus. I'm just wondering how life as a 91B in an aviation unit is like. Will be working with wheeled vehicles, was it a good choice?

Hopefully they have plenty of wheeled vehicles to work on. And that's mostly what I hear when it comes down to MOS and such. It all depends on the unit,

I believe every experience can be used as a learning opportunity. As even aviation units must rely on ground trans, I would take the new role with pride and even if it's not exactly what you'd like, perhaps they'll learn something more in-depth from you. If you mean that it seems like it will be more than you can handle or different than anything you know, take the opportunity to learn within a new area. I don't know much about the specific area, but I do know that new roles present opportunity to learn and shine even if it isnt what you wanted. Hope it all goes well!

Thank you! That helped me out. I want to do more and because it's aviation I worried that I wouldn't be as busy as I would have in a transportation unit. I'm looking forward to and again, thanks for the advice.

Just know that the Military is also about building your network, in that you might meet someone in this unit that can take you places that someone in another unit would not be capable.
