I am currently doing research on the Air Force and how they do things but when I get my orders to my first base will I get briefed on how the Air Force operates since I am prior service?

If not I’m sure your team leader will get you squared away if they operate anything like the army. Good luck to you!

I certainly hope so. after all, you are moving way up!!! Army to Air Force is like going from Private to General!!! seriously, best of luck. watch how your fellow Airmen do things and learn from your NCOs.

SPC (Join to see) if you are not going to any IET or a transition course, you may have to go to your 1st line supervisor and ask. They are not as hands on as the Army.

There is an Air Force publication that is called 50 questions every Airman should know. We used to tease our AF brothers at the Naval War College and their little Chairman Mao Red Book, but it was summaries of certain Air Force mission, history, etc. I think it's on line.

Edit, it is on line: http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/awcgate/afdc/50questions.pdf

Or I find you don't mind spending $5....why didn't your recruiter give you one of these? https://www.ebay.com/itm/50-MORE-QUESTIONS-EVERY-AIRMAN-CAN-ANSWER-by-Major-Frederick-L-Baier-USAF-/ [login to see] 5
