So, on the lighter side, what did you think of the SNL 40 special, aside from:

1. Geez they got old. (Note: WE ALL GOT OLD)

2. They didn't play the most important skit, "Port of Call, Bayonne NJ) This was highly important because I was in Snipe Castle, the 230 Barracks at NTC Great Lakes when it first showed, back in 79....

I stopped watching when they became an extension of the Obama campaigns. Every skit seems to trash republican candidates. Especially Sarah Palin. Not to mention the actual funny skit is few and far between.

SFC Paul P - I don't disagree with you but keep in mind the "Liberal media bias" also keep in mind that Sarah Palin was a beauty contestant and weather forecaster before she became Governor of AK, a job she quit! She was SOOOO qualified to be VP...

LCDR Jaron Matlow, Ronald Reagan was an actor. Kimberly Guilfoyle worked as a lingerie model while going to college. So what? Sarah Palin is infinitely more qualified than the guy in the oval office now.

SFC Paul P - I don't want to get into an argument about who was more or less qualified to be President, Mayor or street sweeper.

I will point out, since this has become political, that we need to look at EVERY candidate next year with an extremely jaundiced eye. Sen. John McCain has supported every attempt by Obama to cut military compensation.

I don't know what others have done, but McCain's position is treachery given his history.
