So who has seen the U.S. Air Force's support of breast cancer? How do you feel about it?

I was floored by the wearing of hot pink colored tee shirts under the Air Force's duty uniform. Is it appropriate for the representitives of our armed forces to show support in this way? What happened to professionalism? Although I fully support the tata's (pun intended). I don't think it's appropriate for our uniformed service members.

SFC (Join to see), I'd have to say I agree with you. Not to take away from the support, which is commendable, but a military service is not the NFL. And a military uniform is not a sports uniform.

SFC (Join to see), are you sure that is what it was and not their normal Friday Squadron Morale Shirt? I know of at least 2 units who's shirts are Pink.
For the record, my unit's shirt is the same shade of blue as the lettering, badges, stripes on our ABU's.

I think one of the definitions of uniform is to be alike and/or in order, so unless it is mandated that everyone wear a hot pink tee, then no one should. I think if once allowed by the few, there would then be too many different things worn by others for other causes or just reasons they want.
