So who here thinks that Bernie Sanders should be our next President?

It seemd to me that Hilary was sort of a talker. She wanted to be in the spotlight and by doing that she lost my vote and i liked what Sanders was proposing.

I like him. His politics are a little left of mine, but he is genuine, he speaks off-the-cuff without the need for prepared talking points and/or a teleprompter, he doesn't duck tough questions, he isn't tainted by big money, and he says what he believes (rather than testing the political winds to determine what to say). Simply put, he's one of the very few who seem authentic. I can trust someone who is authentic, even if I don't completely agree with their policies, because I know what I'm getting. With the others, I just don't know what or who is behind the talking heads.

LTC (Join to see) - Congratulations on the promotion. I'm sure the quirk will work itself out. I'll keep an eye on it.

LTC Kevin B. - Thank you sir. It was a seven month wait for board results, which was very frustrating.

SFC (Join to see) He is genuine, seems honest and if someone else can write the checks his policies sound great.
At some point the US will run out of borrowing power and the fallacy of the Democratic and Republican socialism policies will fail. Bernie Sanders policies will take us there faster. Then those that support him will wonder why all the items that were 'free' before are now not available.
The producer strike will be in full force, all the manufacturing and business have moved to somewhere that respects risk capital.
Socialism only works when there are profits to be redistributed. No producers = no profits,
no profits = no govt redistribution

SSG John Thornton - Agreed. My viewpoint on Bernie Sanders is not that he'll actually be able to implement everything he's mentioning on the campaign trail (our system has checks against that...namely, the opposition party, who will block most of it). My view is that he'll swing the pendulum back towards the consumer side, and away from the producer side. Even if it only moves a little, that will help. In my opinion, right now our economy is giving every indication that consumer demand is suppressed because of the high level of income inequality, and that's why the economy is stagnant. The producers have the vast majority of the wealth, so consumers simply can't buy the goods and services they're wanting to develop and sell. Until at least some level of balance gets restored, this economy will be the new normal. I'm not for wealth redistribution, but I would like to see a better distribution of the new wealth that gets created. Right now, it's all going to the top.

Honestly he is the only one who is giving some substance to his policies, every body on both sides is flip flopping or giving broad answers with out substance

His policies and philosophy is dangerous to those top 1% that has been fleecing the U.S. for the past 30 years. Trickle down policies has not been working as it should when drawn on paper.
