Is your spouse one of those incredible people that has gone above and beyond their "call of duty" and done something extra special to improve life for your unit, base or community? Maybe your spouse has set up a non-profit organization or is currently working with local leaders on a project that will improve the lives of those around you. Whatever it is that makes you think your spouse is special let them know it by nominating him or her as Military Spouse of the Year.
This is an awesome opportunity for anyone, believe me. My wife was the 2012 National Guard Spouse of the Year and the people she met (other involved spouses) has been a true blessing in her life. I challenge you, if you know a special spouse, to nominate them. But hurry, nominations close January 15th.

A quick look through the nominations and there is still a lot of Basses that have no nominations and it looks like GA is the only state (at the moment) to have a nomination from the National Guard. Come on folks, only 9 days left before you miss out on one of the greatest opportunities you can give back to your spouse.
