I taught a TX CHL class the past weekend to some Navy boys out of the Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth and I was pleasantly surprised that these Sailors can shoot pretty well, even the one from NY.
Keep in mind that in TX we shoot from 3, 7, and 15 yards on a large B-27 target, but most kept it in the 8 ring the whole time.

Yeah, one guy tried to use the Navy's new 30 kW laser weapons, but I told him TX doesn't allow laser sights. So he opted for a Kel-Tec .380 instead.
