Does anyone have any experience switching from Active Duty to the Reserves? If I wanted to switch from Active Armor to Reserve PSY OPs or CA, what does that process look like? Do I have to be selected still as if I was applying for the Active SOF Board? Any advice would be appreciated.

It's not the same process as AD. Find the unit you'd like to transfer to and have the USAR career counselor at the installation do the paperwork. Once assigned, you'll need to enroll in and complete the USAR SOF CCC and PSYOP Qualification Course. PM me if you'd like more detail.

Thank you, sir! That explains a lot. My only other question is how does a unit decide if they want you? Is it an interview in conjunction with ORB, OERs?

Current USAR policy is that no interviews, etc are necessary. The unit commander must sign your request for transfer. A career counselor can prep your paperwork. That said, a good courtesy for you is to send your last 2-3 OERs, APFT card, and a short introduction to the prospective company commander in parallel to the transfer documents.
