I assumed it was in the context of a job interview --- perhaps that was a misinterpretation on my part.

Both are great and show a sign of maturity that I would value in an employee or co-worker! I like to hear the truth and not what someone thinks I want to hear! Thanks for sharing!

CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - Same answer, how bad do you want to be promoted. There is truth as you see it and there is career suicide.

It is all about how you see it; your perception is your reality. The challenge is how to communicate that truth to someone else.

CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - Well I was enlisted and was rarely asked for an opinion.....But I was not stupid and tried hard not to upset the Col. with a god complex. (yes they exist)

Hey I was enlisted as well I rose to E-8 before I went to the gray side. The officers I grew up with looked for the NCO to provide some feedback. I love being a warrant Officer it is like a NCO with a bigger bat

I wouldn't know the employer well enough to know what they do or do not want or like.

A) Honest answer: "lets face it, if you were interviewing the CEO of this company, you would never ask this question or if you did, expect to keep you job.
B) There is no "B" because this question never comes up. Though I would love to gear if any of you have FIRST HAND experience being asked this question and who the company was.
