Soldier here who is ETSING on the 21 of March. I submitted my terminal leave form for 18th Jan but got denied and pushed back for the 28th because they needed me for training. During those days I took my Second APFT which was due on Jan 22. Keep in mind that I recently I was going to medical discharged but decided to not go through because I thought I could bare the pain. But eventually the pain got worse so I decided to ride my contract out.
Off the bat they gave me a record so that I could get off the books. I was still pending evaluation for my knees for surgery. Of course I failed after not doing Conditioning for over a year. Coming to present day I am facing Involunatry discharge and my terminal leave got denied because of that. I am not the only ETSING soldier that COC have been giving a hard time. I need help. They have been dissaproving everything that I’ve been submitting for civilian school, to leave. I’m in a rut and I need help understanding and possibly fight for this situation. On a side note It doesn’t seem fair that PCS soldiers have more probability than ETS soldiers. I have so much resources that are beneficial to me. That can benefit my future.

OK, I don't understand all this, but- 1. The CoC can grant or deny ANY Leave period! 2. If you were prepped for MED, then who the hell are you to decide to not go? It is for the Doctors to decide if you are fit or not. 3. You should have known that if you failed the AFPT, they would probably try to chapter you out. 4. The service is responsible for you being the best soldier you can be- Not a Damn soul OWES you anything but a chance at a future. Since you have screwed up the MEB, I guess you better beat feet to JAG. Fair is NOT FAIR, and since you don't wont'/can't hack being a soldier, no sense in the service bending over backwards for you. (My $.02)
