Don't mess with Texas or Marines! Former Marine and off-duty Firefighter does a Texas two step on a would be Robber. I know we are told not to be vigilantes but Daniel Gaskey has to be applauded! What would you do?

At the end, check out the Police Officer's actions, are they appropriate?

You go into an establishment armed with a weapon with the intent to rob the business, your ass deserves to get tossed around like a rag doll.

Way to go Devil Dog!

CSM Michael J. Uhlig I love the way he kept cool, assessed the situation and took control. Outstanding!

Robber had no situational awareness at all and the Marine took advantage of that fact!

I applaud the Fire Fighter and the Cop both for a job well done. It takes a brave person to stand up for others. I'd like to think most (if not all) of us who have served would do the same in the same situation.

SrA (Join to see) I was expecting the police officer to do more than tap the robber on the back...at least he cuffed him...

The situation was under control and the criminal clearly submitting and jot putting up a fight. The cop really didn't need to do anything other than poke him to let him know it's all over. I'd say it was appropriate.

Good for him, it went well. If it had not went well I'm curious what would we be saying...

Sgt Nick Marshall Yes, it can definitely go the other way quickly. I would not blame someone for walking out the door and calling 911.

LTC John Shaw Sir, apologies if I miscommunicated "Yut" is a common Marine-ism for 'motivation' or 'cool' or 'yeah, good work.' I was congratulating the Marine/Fireman in the language of our people.
