I don't want to be an Alarmist, but I truly want to do my part to help others not get devestated like we have in the past. The Market is currently supported by the Government and their daily Bond auctions and printing more and more money. The market never recovered. If it had we would not be at zero percent interest fed funds rate. Do not believe all the hype.

The best hedge against an economic collapse is knowing how to properly cultivate your own fruits and vegetables and knowing how to hunt. Throw in learning how to make your own ammo and purify your own water and you can't go wrong. I use to worry about the American economy failing, but then I realized what is it all for? It's meant to create a more efficient way of society, to help people specialize in their trades, and to spread risk across multiple layers. In the event of a giant market crash, the only thing that really matters is surviving day to day..
These crashes are to be celebrated versus feared. They create far more opportunity than people are willing to admit.

Okay, so this guy's after selling books and sharing BS Stories with everyone but What If? I still think this is a good thought provoking question that we should all be asking ourselves. How can we help each other prepare for something like this? I know... Nothing is guarenteed in life other than death and taxes, but truly what can we do?
