I've been knife handed many times in my short career in the Army. Mainly from my sarcastic attitude. There is been alot of talk about the knife hand being banned and no longer allowed for use in the Reeducation of a Soldier, Sailor, Maine or Airman. What are your thoughts? Hey Hey Ho Ho the Knife Hands got to go? Or does this military need more Knife Hand?<br>

If that is all you have to worry about, think someone needs to find some detail work for you to supervise.

In Instructor Training Course I was taught to use the knife hand instead of pointing at someone.

Absolutely not! People we are trained to be hard and to do the job of killing the enemy. If you can't take a hand gesture then maybe you should rethink why you volunteered for the military.

If you are being disrespectful or stealing training time away from other soldiers because you cannot control your mouth; at a minimum, the knife hand is appropriate. Be quiet and be thought a fool, speak and remove all doubt.
