I just got the news today from her daughter, that one of my heros, Sergeant Moore, USMC, who is 90, was rushed to Mass General in Boston last night, and is passing.
She is one of the women who made it possible for others to actually serve in the military in a wider role than before.
She is known as "Sergeant Mom" to the Women Marines Association, and she is greatly loved by us all.

There have been many RallyPoint members who have sought ways to recognize impactful individual service members and veterans who have passed either in combat or after their military career.
It is not practical to recognize every individual with a separate discussion, but we are happy to host those posts on this central thread.
You are invited to post responses here about individual service members and veterans that you wish to honor.
