There's a lot on Rallypoint but why so many "daily bread" type posts?
There is a lot of good discussion out there, and by all means religion is allowed and to be discussed but the message boards are overwhelmingly covered with "daily bread" and what to pray for type posts, most of the time not even by a military Chaplain.
I know that many religions want members to spread the faith and provide for others, but there is a limit to how much it should be spread all over a military specific site. Can we reduce the amount of "here's my religion, and here's what it says to do today" posts? They are second to frivolous political posts that are borderline UCMJ.

I agree with you about the political posts, at least. That's way out of hand

It all relates to the RP ownership deciding not to do what most forums do, which is to group posts by subject matter, thereby allowing users to decide which topics they want to see and which they don’t. The subject tags are essentially meaningless in that regard as if you happen to be connected to a person who posts in threads of that topic, then they will show up on your page as well. The basic premise of RP seems to be that if you are connected to someone then that means you are interested in all the same topics he/she is, and are force fed threads on topics you have no interest in seeing. And the block user function doesn’t work like it does on most forums where it means you no longer see posts by that person. On RP the block function stops you from responding to each others posts, or from posting in a thread started by the blocked person, but it doesn’t block the other persons posts from appearing as it does in other forums.
This complaint has been surfaced many times, but a command decision has apparently been made not to change things, so it is what it is.

SGT (Join to see)
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind the RP community I'm all for an "ignore this tag" function.

Just click on the 3 dots (bottom right of post in the feed, don't open post), then you have the option to block, see less, etc.
