Ok, now this is a news articlr from one of my local TV stations here in Alabama, and is based near my hometown, so I trust this, so please don't down vote or accuse me of spreading BS like it's happened recently.
This is a bunch of crap and honestly I pretty sick of this administration, our "leaders" (said sarcastically).
When will this joke end? And why is he doing this?

So now the administration must be stopped. I remember when the administration was being accused of being evil for allowing law enforcement to have them in the first place... Damned if you do, damned if you don't...

I never thought that they were evil, not saying you said that. I think law enforcement should have that capability just in case if they are needed

I don't think they should have had them in the first place. Does this town really need two M113s? Is that an efficient use of taxpayer funding to maintain and fuel them? Are they being used safely? Also kind of ironic that they were requested by protesters as part of a "Stop the Violence" event.
Only in America do protesters bring armored vehicles to a "Stop the Violence" protest.

Sir, they have been used for emergencies as well as crime fighting. The thing is there is an Army Depot here that builds and disassembles tanks, I used to work there, I believe that's where they got 'em from. I believe they were decommissioned tanks anyway. And they've also sold some to the Iraqi Army as well from the Depot, wouldn't you rather a police force have them instead of a terroristic country?

SGT Neil Chandler I think we have a lot more options other than militarizing US police forces (which I absolutely disagree with) or giving them to Iraq. We can recycle their metal. We can drop them in oceans to start reefs. There are many other options besides giving military grade weapons to Mayberry USA. And while they may have been used for emergencies or crime fighting, did they ever make use of their intended purpose? To transport people, under fire, to do ANYTHING? I'm guessing not. I'd venture to say that whatever use those M113s served in emergencies and crime fighting could have been done more effectively and efficiently with a GMC Suburban.

SGT Neil Chandler, we can only guess why he is doing most of the things that he does these days. Just consider that the elections are not far off, and that we will hopefully be wise enough to elect a new, wiser leader for our country.
