Just interested in what thoughts my peers have on the announcement that later today Eric Holder will announce he is stepping down from the post of Attorney General.

My thoughts are that with the manner in which he has comported himself over the years by "seeming" to draw race into a lot of issues that it is about time that he voluntarily leaves. This is only my opinion, but it seems that as we as a nation try to get past the issue of race/racism, it does not help matters when you have someone in the top law enforcement position in the nation appearing to tie issues on a national level with being racist in nature and more or less pandering to the Rev. Al Sharpton/Jesse Jacksons of the world who do not seem capable of seeing past black/white.

Eric Holder has, without a doubt, been one of the more criticized members of the current administration. Is there more to this than currently being reported or is it just time for him to go?
I'm including links from Fox and CNN to be fair here. Your thoughts?
