Calculate your retirement points and multiply that figure by the retirement income you will receive for a lifetime, then ask a Financial Advisor what kind of personal wealth accumulation would you need to have in an Annuity to pay out that same amount without ever reducing the principal! Then calculate how much your spouse will receive should you opt for her to receive your retirement should you die before her! That's my position or what it's worth!
