The Tomah VA Medical Center released a 30-day plan Monday to try and improve operations at the facility.

The plan comes in the wake of a scandal at the VA, that alleges the hospital was over-prescribing pain medication to veterans.

Are they really over-prescribing? Or are we, as a country, too stupid to recognize the vast number of veterans with physical health and pain issues... I live with chronic pain, and it sucks the life out of me...

It is good to see any degree of innovation at the VA. The customer base continues to grow and must be adjusted to.

Tomah VA releases 30-day plan to improve facility - and this will help?

There plan did not even address the issue of over perscribing pain meds so I do not see how it will help. When there is an issue you need to address that head on and not beat around the bush with it.
