At what point do you think it is too late to submit a Warrant Packet?  I know that generally the cutoff is 12 years without an AFS waiver, but I know that at least in Patriot, waivers are not too hard to get! Is it ever really too late?

It is not too late. I recently graduated from a class composed of 80% NCO (SFC-SSG) prior to attendance. Myself, I have 14 years in service. The class behind me had a MSG(P); don't know how old he was, but he look like he had some city mileage on him. I believe the oldest candidate in our class was over 45y/o.

So far I believe it is the best career move I've done. Funny thing is that I knew it was a good desition but didn't fully sinked until I stepped over. We are the ones who tell NO to ourselves. If interested, do the work, and put the packet in. What are they gonna say, no? What if they say yes?

Hit me up for more info. It is not too late.

It's not possible to retire as a CW3 after just 6 years as a Warrant is it, Chief?
