Trying to make educated decision between 68J and 92A. I've been in for 5 years and the rank of Sergeant. Which job would someone recommend?

Is 68J or 92A a better mos? I'm currently a 91D trying to reclass for a better career. I have done my research on both said mos, but am looking for others view by their personal experience. Thank yall for the advice.

Well, unfortunately he'll be a SGT as a 68J for another 10. 92A promotes at 730 68J promotes at 798

You pick the job that has a class seat before the class seats are gone. You have about till the end of the day before low density class seats that have low entrance requirements are gone.
Personally, I would take 92A. They both are very tough to promote to SSG in, but with 92A you'll almost certainly make SFC before you retire

Being a former Medical Logistics person, I would choose 68J. The opportunities to work in a hospital warehouse and the experience you gain could translate well in life after the Army. There are programs in the AMEDD that are afforded to 68Js such as the Medical Logistics Management Internship Program (MLMIP).

I chose 92A initially because I have become very knowledgeable in the job itself in 3 years, at least within the motorpool. I also have some knowledge of the warehouse operation. 68J because its distribution, such as 92A. Also got interested in 68J for it being in the medical field.

It's tough to get to E6 as a 92A, but once you get that you can shoot up to 1SG/CSM fairly quick compared to other MOS

Also look at what opportunities this MOS can bring you not only on military but Civilian as well...

I would take 92A, this is one of the mos series for me that have easy way go promote and has a E8 promotion capabilities every where as well as 91B. I been in for 8 years now am an E-6 waitimg for SLC fast, With 91B, 92A and 91D mos on my belt been 91D with a dead end as E6. 92A open the door for a fast promotion due to the opening around my state as well 91B been my current position

Both are very similar, other questions is how long you are expecting to stay in. Like CW4 David Reid said, but in the other hand as a 92A your possibilities expands. Form warehouses to distribution centers. However, you said you are 91D, as 92A you will be related to maintenance operations as well. I recommend you using onetonline.org to help you decide. Best success!
