As we begin to focus inward towards our families, I ask that you not forget the great troops like this Warrior, Cpl. Andrew Aimesbury was an exceptional Ranger leader and an extraordinary man. Rest in Peace Andrew.

Very sad news CSM Michael J. Uhlig. I hope and pray that the family of Cpl. Andrew Aimesbury are comforted as they grieve. Having a family member killed this close to Christmas and the other religious holidays this time of year can make teh loss even more devastating.
A friend and USMA classmate of mine died in 1986 during a combined training exercise in Honduras while he was assigned to a ranger battalion. He died shielding another soldier when rounds fell short.
