I am creating a survey to assess the aforementioned populations and I would like early feedback. I know the Beauru of Labor and Statistics tracks unemployment among veterans (Gulf War II [OIF/OEF, and support operations ]) being the highest among veterans, but no one seems to be tracking reservists and guard members.

Please, share your experiences and anything you may think is helpful in getting our brothers and sisters engaged in the workforce.

I was told by over twenty companies that I was over qualified and over educated for positions I applied for. I asked to get a foot in the door and was told that because I was more qualified than their senior leadership that there were no positions available. Can't dumb down resumes because they check your work history and references.

Wow,

I am sorry to hear that. But excellent point. I will be including that into the survey.

Once the survey is complete, I will post it on RP and later the results to help anybody interested gain insight. Participation is highly encouraged. This info may be useful to you later. Either transitioning or retention relevant.
