For preservation, to pass down to kids after I’m gone (and to get out of my closet to stop looking), I’ve decided to frame my old asu dress uniform. But instead, I’ve come into a bit of a problem that I couldn’t find the answer of. So I was part of earning a couple unit awards. So I was going to leave those personally earned on my uniform. Do I still display that unit crest above them since they were earned in that unit or no unit crest and just the awards? I don’t want years later to have any discredit or being wrong and looking stupid. Thanks in advance.

SGT (Join to see) From my vantage point of having worn Olive Drab Wool Uniforms, save something that is easily transported, easy to care for and does not require much space.
I really wonder if my sons will retain my ‘shadow box’ or my other military wall hangings.
My most appreciated effort to date is my written biography, a poorly written story of my life. It will tell subsequent descendants one person’s story about their heritage.
My lady friend and myself are each chagrined at the lack of interest our children evidence in our possessions - except our $ !
