I don't know why this should bother me so, but I feel like starting-up a grassroots movement to encourage active duty folks to boycott UM. They have scored HUGE from active duty military who have taken advantage of their off-campus educational opportunities for several decades. And so this is how they express their gratitude for our business? People (myself included I suppose) need to learn how NOT to become so butthurt...this "being offended" business has become an epidemic and instead of just allowing things to sort of roll off their shoulders, people choose to make themselves out to be victims of extreme persecution. What a bunch of wussies...and UM bowing to them makes my blood boil.

It is always amazing (and sad) how one group gets to decide what is "offensive" and then imposes their viewpoint on the rest of us. But, then again, isn't that what PC is all about?

Yea but I don't give a flying fart about PC...they can take PC and shove it where the sun doesn't shine...another thing imposed upon the masses by the minority.

So much for free speech! Why is it that not showing the movie is considered the right thing to do. Seems an infringement of my freedom. So your telling me I can't decide to see or not see the movie, UM is going to make this decision for me. I watched the movie and thought is was great. I thought this country was built on freedom of speech and if you don't like what I'm saying then don't listen. It's amazing to me that everyone advocates this right until we don't like what you are saying. Unless you are actually harming someone, which is really hard to do with words, then everything is fair game no matter how dumb what it is you are saying.

A lot of people are mad about the decision to postpone ‘American Sniper’ at U-Md. following Muslim protests ...

PC BS strikes again. There were christians in the German army during WWII. Did that make it a war of religion or war against the enemy? If the enemy waves a Christian flag and carries a bible but runs at me with an RPG the trigger gets pulled.

No that was University of Michigan...and they did that AFTER their newly-hired football coach, Jim Harbaugh, took to social media announcing that the football team would be holding their own screening of the movie and it was met with an avalanche of positive tweets with a lot of negative directed at the university. OOPS, we didn't know! Yea, right.
