By "benefit", I'll presume that you mean the non-salary side. For me, the retirement plan was most important. I looked very closely at the nature of their pension (defined benefit) and/or matching (defined contribution) plans. Healthcare wasn't a concern, considering I had already locked that in with my military retirement.
