Is vitiligo a issue for joining the United States Army as a 11B it's mostly just a skin discoloration that hasn't really ever affected me in life nor has it spread much if any in the last 13 years of my life. It's just a little on my hands and around my crotch but my hands are hardly noticable. So I'm just wondering if this will be an Issue with enlisment.

Well all it is as far as I know is a skin discoloration caused by my cells. So when I meant mostly I don't know why I phrased it like that. Sorry :)

(Join to see) - I wouldn't think it would require a waiver. I would definitely talk to a recruiter though

SrA John Monette I did ask mine about it and he said it shouldn't be a issue I'm just looking for more insight on it pretty much. :) Better safe than sorry

I would have no idea of what, if any, issue you would have reference to enlistment.. its a pigment discoloration.. (white) .. Overseas, now that's a different story.. your crotch probably will "rot".. and if that's all you suffer from.. Well, good for you.. All sorts of fun, games and possibly HELL will be coming your way.. So brace yourself, and enjoy your health while you still have it !! Good Luck..
