I love Rallypoint, it truly fills a need for our military members. That said, it does not YET fill the need entirely. Let's be fair. haha Give it time, ;)
Anyway, to leveral the strength of Rallypoint AND make it TRULY help us out in our professional lives, I am going to ask all of you to consider 1.) sharing your LINKEDIN profiles, and 2.) If you feel someone has impressed you enough to endorse them here on Rallypoint, consider endorsing them and/or RECOMMENDING them on LinkedIn.
Recommending someone, above all else, is HUGE on LinkedIn. Far more than 'endorsing' someone.
Recommending someone provides credibility. It says that the person knows people, and those people have formed an opinion worthy of being highlighted for the world to see.
Employers READ these things. People HIRE based on what they find on LinkedIn.
So let's do what we are all here for... and spend some time as we are able to, elevating each other and sharing our strengths with the world.
By all means, CONNECT with me on LinkedIn, please.

If I have had a chance to get to know you, or have an opinion of you, I will try to find the time over the next several weeks/months to endorse and recommend you via LinkedIn.
Semper Fi.

This needs more applicable tags. There are many IT guys I'd love to be able to annoy on RP AND LinkedIn, though I'm slightly biased against posting my LinkedIn here - privacy settings.

I think that RP should allow us to share to LinkedIn as well we are able to share things to FB, Twitter, and email but not to LinkedIn and there is some good stuff out here that is beneficial to those on LinkedIn as well both civilian, veteran, and active duty. https://www.linkedin.com/in/martha-marne-deithorn-364baa1a
