Using your Post 9/11 GI Benefits as an SBA W/ INTEREST?

Lately I've read a number of articles concerning a "Proposed Bill" that would allow for Vets to have all of the money from their Post 9/11 Education Bill , including the BAH,which is paid monthly; All Added up into one lump sum that the Veteran could then turn around and "BORROW" as a Small Business Start up Loan with Interest!!!! Now I know some kids get out of the military as Veterans and don't want to go back to school, they want to work. However, the money that these kids already EARNED for College as a sort of reward if you will for signing and serving IS NOT PAID BACK WITH INTEREST WHEN USED FOR COLLEGE!!! So why then, is the money being vetted for taxation as an SBA LOAN AND NOW THE VET WOULD HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON MONEY THAT WAS RIGHTFULLY HIS TAX-FREE TO BEGIN WITH!!!!
I Personally, would Respectfully ask the Creators of this "Bill" to hold off on any taxation unless the New Veteran turned Entrepreneur defaults on just ONE payment.. I don't know, what do you fellow Vets out here in RallyPoint Land have to say on the matter??? Will it even Pass??
SOUND OFF HOOAH!!!!!!

Tax free to go to school, if you are not going to school, and starting a business then you are technically not using the money for what it was intended to be used for. I do understand we earned it and how it is spent should be of no concern of anyone but the vet, but you earned it to further your education, not to use it as a small Lottery. But if you do...I feel it should then be taxed.

I liked the question. And I will be the first to tell you I may be wrong, just my view on it.
