Have you had the opportunity to try this at the VA or elsewhere? You can read more about the treatment here.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is hardy unproven, it is used around the world as the standard of care for over 80 different conditions. The US and VA do not support HBOT because HBOT works and actually heals the brain injury instead of masking the symptoms with the extremely dangerous pharmaceuticals that destroy the kidneys, liver, thyroid and heart. One of the leading causes of the 22-30 daily Veteran suicide epidemic is the use of psychotropic drugs for TBI and PTS treatment.
Oxygen is used in Israel for anti-aging because the oxygen along with the bone marrow stem cell activation leads to organ regeneration. https://tvfaz.org/wellness-clinics/what-is-hbot/stem-cell-research/
I am a 15 year survivor of a near fatal TBI (flat-lined twice post-op with grand mal seizures) and I received the 40 "dive" protocol for TBI treatment back in 2015 when my injury was almost 12 years old. https://tvfaz.org/about-tvf/founder/hbot-dives-for-tbi/
The VA, Army and the VA tried to disprove HBOT back in 2011 and their predetermined outcome for the study backfired, the 2011 study actually showed that HBOT did heal the brain and other organs.

Thank you for sharing this, LCDR Gordon Brown! I am all for treatments we can use that could reduce or completely allow someone to not have to take a myriad of medications to manage their condition.

Took a chamber ride with a buddy of mine who got the bends diving. Sure worked well for him. Don't know how or weather it would help PTSD or where the correlation between more oxygen at pressure and PTSD comes from.
I've read a couple articles where they were using this as a treatment for cancer patients also.

It is intriguing to me that there seems to be so many ways this treatment can work for different conditions.

SN Vivien Roman-Hampton - There are a lot of treatments for things out there that help some folks but not all. My worry with unconventional treatments and this one particularly is that there are not oodles of hyperbaric chambers out there and if they are tied up doing this and someone needs one for an actual situation that it was designed for, where will the guy with the bends go, as you can't just depressurize these things on a moments notice.

I’ve read studies where it has improved behaviors in autistic adolescents. I’d give it a try!

That sounds really interesting TSgt Jackie Jones. I wonder what about it works for autistic adolescents?
