Is my active duty status during 3 weeks of annual training eligible for claiming SCRA benefits with credit cards like American express Platinum ? I have been trying to get this benefit while I’m in AT. However, the credit cards companies are not able to verify my active duty status during AT. I tried to look up using https://scra.dmdc.osd.mil/scra/ But didn’t work. Does anyone have idea how to request SCRA benefit applied to credit card while on AT ?

And this...there are phones listed on the page...ask for a supervisor or manager, ask for all names and/or IDs so you can call them back, ask to have a case number set up if possible, and also ask all three Congress mil/vet local office staffs, filing Privacy Act (PA) requests online, sign and date the prinouts, send them in to all three Congres mil/vet staff groups, and explain the whole thing to them...honestly, those are my best ideas, at least for the moment, OK?

Your AT isn't covered because it isn't 30 days or longer.
Straight out their FAQs
In order to be considered for SCRA coverage a Title 32 member must be called "...to active service authorized by the President or the Secretary of Defense for a period of more than 30 consecutive days under section 502(f) of title 32, United States Code, for purposes of responding to a national emergency declared by the President and supported by Federal funds. SFC (Join to see) The Soldier is, according to his RP profile, Reserves. This falls under Title 10, not Title 32.

Not really!
You need to get an order which put you on Active Duty. For example, if you get deployed, you’ll receive an order, and at that time you can use that to get scra benefits.

The reserves and guard are funded through title 32 but active duty through title 10. Technically you are under active duty but not exactly. That may be why you're having trouble getting verified.

SFC Melvin Brandenburg The National Guard is title 32 (state funded with federal dollars). The Reserves is always Title 10 (federal funds), as they are not a state program.
SPC(P) (Join to see) Make the SCRA request in writing. A letter containing the following is usually key:
1) account number, 2) start date of active-duty service, 3) a request for a reduction in interest rate pursuant to the SCRA, and 4) a copy of active-duty orders (orders can be easily verified).

SGT Javier Silva I’m using the card’s SCRA request system. I submitted the order, commander’s memo, annex with my name on it. However, I keep getting letter of not able to verify. With Amex, I cant reallly talk to the back office to see what actually they want. I will keep trying.

Read the stuff I'd sent in, try it that way, see if it all does any good, I'd be curious if you'd get anywhere that way, no rush, just wondered....
