Worked with them for a year. No luck on anything viable. Still looking it the KC area.

It does seem to be the latest craze, MAJ (Join to see). I'm guessing there are two reasons for that: (1) people honestly want to help vets get a job; and (2) there's money in it.
I agree that there seems to be a surplus of companies, agencies, etc., that "sell themselves" as having the mission in life to hire vets. And yet, even with all that, so many vets are unemployed. Something's clearly not working.
