Veterans, how much can you save when you use your VA benefits?

I was turned down by USAA for a 0 down loan after they had approved it. I was told by a vet with 100% disability that he was advised by a friend what answers to put down for the PTSD questions. I told him, for 50+ years I have been hoping for the VA to address my Agent Orange condition. I was not an officer. I was told by an officer with 100% disability that all Vietnam vets get 100%. The rest of us will die waiting. Could it be that that's the plan? Oh well.
